May 1 @ 11:54 pm

The ArtsQuest™ Center is a dynamic, multi-use performing arts center set amidst the 10-acre SteelStacks™ campus located on the former Bethlehem Steel plant property in south Bethlehem. The facility is operated by ArtsQuest, a nonprofit 501c3.

The ArtsQuest™ Center is a 65,000-square-foot, four-floor building featuring floor-to-ceiling glass walls that offer a spectacular view of the plant’s iconic blast furnaces, which are illuminated nightly. The Center has activities and events on a regular basis from comedy shows and concerts of all types to classes, tours, festivals, and top-notch movies in an alehouse-style cinema. The facility can be rented for private events as well.

Once inside the Center, you will find so many options that you’ll want to visit again, and again.

If you’re a fan of live music, be sure to check out the options at the ArtsQuest Center’s Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling located on the third and fourth floors. The fourth floor offers balcony views with tables and chairs to sit back, and enjoy some food and beverages.

Look for nationally-known blues, indie rock, world, jazz, pop, and folk artists, as well as Musikfest Cabaret shows offering dining prior to the show, dynamic kids’ programming, and more. More than 200 performances take place throughout the year, offering something for everyone.

If you are looking for a breath of fresh air during your event at the Center, head to the Wind Creek Deck located off the third floor, just outside Musikfest Café. Here, you’ll find spectacular views, and it serves as a great location for taking pictures of the campus and mountain backdrop.

The  on the mezzanine level of the Center, is the perfect space to see an intimate concert, an improv night with the Pennsylvania Youth Theatre, or a one-act play reading.

Located on the first floor of the Center, are the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas, where film aficionados experience the best in independent, foreign, and documentary films 365 days a year. This state-the-art, alehouse-style cinema has two screens and allows patrons to purchase food and beverages at the Mike & Ike Bistro to enjoy while viewing.

The Capital BlueCross Creativity Commons is a contemporary gathering space for the community, located on the ground floor of the building. This space allows groups to gather in a casual-style environment.

An area of the Center that is wired for multi-media, the Lee & Stella Yee Family Connect Zone, offers flexible seating for a place to gather or host presentations on the first floor.
