2019 Media Marketplace

September 24, 2019 @ 8:00 am - September 26, 2019 @ 2:30 pm

This year’s Marketplace will take place on September 24-26 in Virginia’s newly-expanded Richmond Region. VisitRichmond recently welcomed neighboring Powhatan County and the town of Ashland to their tourism marketing effort. With the Hilton Short Pump as our host hotel, MATPRA’s 2019 Marketplace will shine a spotlight on Powhatan, Ashland, and the nearby booming cosmopolitan area that surrounds the Hilton Short Pump Hotel and Spa. Media and MATPRA colleagues can look forward to a fun mix of small-town charm and backroads hidden gems, just a short drive from Short Pump Town Center with 140 upscale shops & eateries.

The MATPRA Media Marketplace is a great opportunity for both PR professionals and travel journalists to get together and discuss story ideas, arrange visits to our destination and talk about what’s new in our backyards.

It's time to cure that cabin fever and explore the splendors of Lehigh Valley. Restaurants open their patios for outdoor dining, miles of the region's trails thaw out for long bike rides, and seasonal blooms paint a picture perfect scene for heading out on a covered bridge tour. https://t.co/KN8cwxo3jp

Grab friends looking to shake their booty at the Keystone Theater as the dance floor heats up while the temperatures plummet outside in late January. Local celebrities battle for a mirror ball trophy during BCRAC Dancing with the Stars Gala. @BradfordCounty_ https://t.co/EOcin4ZAi3

At 148 acres of rolling hills and woodlands, Montgomery Hall Park is a great asset to Staunton. Once you’re on the looping miles of wooded hiking trails, you might actually forget that you’re within city limits. Hikers will often spot birds, squirrels, and deer. @Staunton
