Plein Air Easton Competition and Arts Festival

July 14 - July 23

Plein Air Easton is the largest and most prestigious juried Plein Air painting competition in the United States.  Artists from all over the U.S. and beyond participate in this week-long festival. Amateurs can join in the fun as well during the highly anticipated Quick Draw Competition. This is art as spectator sport!

Plein Air juried artist’s original works are exhibited throughout the week, competition awards are given, and paintings are sold, sometimes right off the easel! Highlights include the open-to-all Quick Draw Competition, demonstrations, workshops, exhibits, and lectures. For those 18 years old and younger, there is a Next Generation Competition, exhibit, and sale.

It's time to cure that cabin fever and explore the splendors of Lehigh Valley. Restaurants open their patios for outdoor dining, miles of the region's trails thaw out for long bike rides, and seasonal blooms paint a picture perfect scene for heading out on a covered bridge tour. https://t.co/KN8cwxo3jp

At 148 acres of rolling hills and woodlands, Montgomery Hall Park is a great asset to Staunton. Once you’re on the looping miles of wooded hiking trails, you might actually forget that you’re within city limits. Hikers will often spot birds, squirrels, and deer. @Staunton
