Whether you prefer to drive, hike, picnic or bike, the scenic landscapes are a sight to see. The best part about these attractions is that you can experience the beautiful vegetation at your leisure throughout the autumn season. Day 1- Friday 3 PM: Lodging check-in to one of the many hotels in Cranberry Township 4 PM: Stroll along Zelienople’s charming Main Street lined with family-owned shops, boutiques, restaurants, museums and a theatre dating back to 1914. 6 PM: Dinner (dine-in or takeout) at Harmony Inn, a one-of-a-kind restaurant and saloon serving German-infused entrees and handcrafted drinks. Return to lodging Day 2 – Saturday 8 AM: Breakfast (dine-in or takeout) at Wunderbar Coffee & Crepes, a specialty coffee shop and cafe known for its delicious coffee and a variety of sweet and savory crepes. 10 AM: Tour the quaint town of Historic Harmony, the site of western Pennsylvania’s first National Historic Landmark District, followed by a visit to the Harmony Museum, where you’ll learn even more rich history about the area. 1 PM: Burgh Bits and Bites Food Tour in Saxonburg; combining the unique history of Saxonburg with a walking and tasting tour through the town. You’ll enjoy interesting facts and samples from a variety of local restaurants and cafes. 4 PM: Catch some fall foliage with a self-guided tour at Glade Run Lake Conservancy, a 52-acre man-made lake surrounded by luscious woodlands and farmlands. While you’re there, take a hike on the 1.5-mile walking trail encompassing the lake. 6 PM: Dinner (dine-in or takeout) at Domenico’s Ristorante, a family-owned, fine-dining restaurant specializing in pasta dishes, chicken, seafood and pizza. Return to lodging Day 3 – Sunday 8 AM: Breakfast at Bloom Cafe, a casual café located beside Quality Gardens, offering breakfast, lunch, specialty coffee, and house-made pastries. 10 AM: Get breathtaking views of Pennsylvania’s fall foliage at Moraine State Park. Consisting of 16,725 acres of pure beauty, Moraine State Park offers a variety of outdoor activities and is the third largest park in the state. 12 PM: Lunch at Brown’s Country Kitchen, a popular restaurant featuring hearty, home-cooking that includes buttermilk fried chicken, country-style pot-roast and their world-famous pies! 2 PM: Explore Moraine State Park along the waters of Lake Arthur with a Standup paddleboarding Eco Tour. 6 PM: Dinner at Log Cabin Inn, a rustic restaurant with great views overlooking the woods, and even better food.
