LoCo Wine Fest

Set in the heart of DC’s Wine Country®, the LoCo Wine Festival gathers some of Loudoun County’s best farm wineries in one place for a weekend of tastings, food trucks, live music, and a local artisan market. The host venue tells its own story: Old Farm Winery at Hartland sits on 35 acres of preserved 18th-century farmland in Loudoun’s historic hunt country, complete with a renovated 19th-century farmhouse and barn, about an hour from Washington, DC.

Admission includes complimentary tastings from all participating wineries, a souvenir tasting glass, and a winery passport – with the vintners themselves pouring, giving visitors a direct line to the people behind Loudoun’s wine scene. Held each spring and fall, the festival offers travel writers a one-stop introduction to why Loudoun is Virginia’s most concentrated wine destination, with a portion of proceeds benefiting a local charity partner.
