The Mid-Atlantic Tourism Public Relations Alliance (MATPRA) is a cohesive unit of regional tourism partners encompassing Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. MATPRA strives to serve travel journalists by offering regional resources and also acting as a connector between complementary destinations within the Mid-Atlantic region.

MATPRA is a collaborative network of 80+ member destinations, committed to showcasing the unique attractions, rich history, and dynamic culture that make this region a must-visit for travelers from across the globe.

ADDITIONAL ATTENDEE OPTION FOR TUESDAY

Adam will present at the Tuesday DMO Annual Meeting and at our Wednesday lunch. DMOs attending Marketplace who wish to have additional staffers attend the Tuesday Annual Meeting to hear Adam speak can do so for a charge of $100/person. This will include the annual meeting as well as the opening reception at FirstEnergy Stadium and a Fightin’ Phils baseball game. Email Heidi at [email protected] to add additional people.

MATPRA utilizes the Wild Apricot software platform to manage all registration and association membership. Please note: Your website login is different than your Wild Apricot login. Please reach out to the Website Committee for website questions and the Managing Director or Board for Wild Apricot Membership questions.

How Do I Submit Events?

Once you are logged in to the site, click here to Submit a new Event. Keep in mind, events need to be large, one-day events that are unique to the area. We do not accept weekly music/farmers market/daily events. You may submit up to 6 events at a time. If one event passes, you may submit another.

How Do I Submit News Posts?

Once you are logged in to the site, click here to Submit a News Post. You may submit up to 2 posts per quarter, for a total of 8 per year.

What is MATPRA Marketplace?

MATPRA Media Marketplace is the annual event for the organization. The Marketplace brings together 60+ journalists and 60+ DMOs to discuss story themes, ideas, and provide networking opportunities. Find out more here.

How Do I Qualify for Marketplace?

You must be a member in good standing and attend at least one Quarterly Meeting per year.
