After 27 years, one of Northern Virginia’s most beloved outdoor music traditions takes its final bow. The Tarara Summer Concert Series, which began in 1999 with two guitar players on a winery tasting room deck, grew into a Saturday night institution on the shores of Shadow Lake at Tarara Winery, 15 minutes north of Leesburg.

Honored as Visit Loudoun’s Annual Tourism Event of the Year and named among USA Today’s top wineries with music in the U.S., Tarara’s farewell run pairs live music with food trucks and Virginia wine under summer sunsets.
