The Mid-Atlantic Tourism Public Relations Alliance (MATPRA) is a cohesive unit of regional tourism partners encompassing Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. MATPRA strives to serve travel journalists by offering regional resources and also acting as a connector between complementary destinations within the Mid-Atlantic region.

MATPRA is a collaborative network of 80+ member destinations, committed to showcasing the unique attractions, rich history, and dynamic culture that make this region a must-visit for travelers from across the globe.

We are so excited to welcome you to Central Delaware, your host for Media Marketplace on September 22 – 24, 2026, at Bally’s Dover Casino Resort! Nestled in the center of only three counties, Central Delaware is where history, hospitality, and adventure meet. Home to the historic capital of Dover, where the Constitution was first ratified, Dover Air Force Base, home to the award-winning Air Mobility Command Museum, and Dover Motor Speedway, which hosts an annual NASCAR race. Explore our fascinating museums, stroll through historic towns, discover the beauty of our outdoors and wildlife, and experience the thrills of live music, events, and festivals, all year long.

This Media Marketplace is designed to give you the full Delaware experience, with tours and experiences featuring all three counties, so you can see all of Delaware while you’re here. From the vibrant city energy of New Castle County, through the historic charm and central location of Kent County, to the coastal beauty and beaches of Sussex County, Delaware offers something for every traveler to enjoy, and we can’t wait to welcome you here!

Members can utilize MATPRA’s Web Content Dashboard to make updates to their destination information, submit new events or news articles, and create itineraries. Members can also find more information out about getting involved in the organization from a committee or Board standpoint.

MATPRA utilizes the Wild Apricot software platform to manage all registration and association membership. Please note: Your website login is different than your Wild Apricot login. Please reach out to the Website Committee for website questions and the Managing Director or Board for Wild Apricot Membership questions.

How Do I Submit Events?

Once you are logged in to the site, click here to Submit a new Event. Keep in mind, events need to be large, one-day events that are unique to the area. We do not accept weekly music/farmers market/daily events. You may submit up to 6 events at a time. If one event passes, you may submit another.

How Do I Submit News Posts?

Once you are logged in to the site, click here to Submit a News Post. You may submit up to 2 posts per quarter, for a total of 8 per year.

What is MATPRA Marketplace?

MATPRA Media Marketplace is the annual event for the organization. The Marketplace brings together 60+ journalists and 60+ DMOs to discuss story themes, ideas, and provide networking opportunities. Find out more here.

How Do I Qualify for Marketplace?

You must be a member in good standing and attend at least one Quarterly Meeting per year.
